Description:
Provide high-level customer service through excellent communication skills, positive attitude and clean appearance. This must be a detailed oriented person that can accurately record work in a work order system and communicate to customers the work that was or needs to be completed. This position includes but is not limited to water testing, mechanical system troubleshooting, liner installation, painting, and pool cleaning.
Pool Service Technicians should be able to work independently. Positive demeanor is a must as you will be representing the company while you are in the customers’ backyards. This is a very physical job that often entails working in all types of weather conditions and requires heavy lifting.
Tasks include:
- Water chemistry, testing and balancing.
- Diagnose and repair minor electrical issues.
- Diagnose and repair leaks.
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters and salt systems.
- Communicate to the customers issues or concerns in a professional manner.
- Other various tasks as needed such as organizing the shop and cleaning vehicles.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years of pool maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Detail oriented with technical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Stress tolerance and attention to detail.
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
